Design Setup — Common Questions
Can you send us your jersey templates so a friend can design it?
No.
We do not distribute our jersey templates. All custom designs are created in-house to ensure proper fit, print accuracy, and production consistency.
Can we supply our own artwork?
Yes — as reference.
You’re welcome to provide artwork, concepts, or inspiration. However, all designs are recreated from scratch on our templates using our own vector assets to ensure print quality and consistency.
We do not place customer-supplied artwork directly onto our templates unless it meets our production standards.
Can we supply our own logo?
Yes — if it’s production-ready.
Accepted formats:
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF)
High-quality PNGs with transparent backgrounds
⚠️ We discourage AI-generated logos unless they have been professionally converted to vector format.
Logos that require cleanup, redraws, or edits may incur additional design fees at our discretion.
Who is responsible for logo permissions and approvals?
Customers are responsible for providing logos and confirming they have permission to use all sponsor marks, league logos, and branded artwork.
UGLY Paintball does not obtain logos, verify sponsorships, or secure logo approvals on a customer’s behalf.
Can you show us a design before we order?
No.
We do not begin any design work until a design setup has been purchased. This ensures every project receives dedicated time and attention.
Once your design setup is purchased, you’ll work directly with our design team to finalize your look before ordering jerseys.
Do I still need a design setup for a simple jersey?
Yes.
Even solid-color jerseys with logos, sponsors, and names require a design setup.
Every custom jersey is built from scratch to ensure proper layout, sizing, and print accuracy. Design setup covers the creation of your production-ready files and is required before any jerseys are produced.
Do I need to pay a design setup again if I’m reordering a jersey for a new player?
No.
Once your design has been finalized, it stays on file with us.
If you’re adding a new player or replacing a jersey, you can simply order another jersey and provide the new name and number at checkout. No additional design setup is required.
Design setup is only charged again if a completely new design is created.
Do all of your custom products require a design setup fee?
No.
Only products that require original custom design work have a design setup fee.
Custom accessories such as headbands, barrel covers, and other select items do not require a design fee and can be purchased immediately.

Once you purchase a design setup, our design team will reach out by email to begin the design process. Please use a valid email at checkout. If you don't see an email from us within 72 business hours, please check your spam folder.
You’ll work directly with us to finalize:
Colors and layout
Logo and sponsor placement
Name and number style
Logo Responsibility Notice
All logos, sponsor marks, and branded artwork must be provided or approved by the customer.
Customers confirm they have permission to use all submitted logos.
UGLY Paintball does not obtain logos or verify sponsorships or trademark rights.
No jerseys are ordered during this step.
You’ll review and approve the final design before any jerseys are purchased or produced.
Reorders:
If you already have a finalized design on file, you can skip directly to this step to order additional jerseys for new or returning players.
During this step, you will:
Purchase jersey or item quantities and sizes
Submit player names and numbers
After your order is placed, you will receive player mockups for spelling and number approval within 48 business hours.
No jerseys move to production without your final approval.
